Great day and night tour with Renu. It’s way easier to go around town with her. She asked us what we wanted to do ahead of time and was flexible to adapt the day of the excursion. Her English is excellent. We had a great time and we will call her again next time we’re in Bangkok. - David and Annie

During my visit to Bangkok my guide Renu, she took care of all the details around my sightseeing and made sure everything went great. She was easy to get along with and really knew her way around the greater Bangkok area. I did a day trip to Ayutthaya, which she fully arranged and ensured I was seeing and experiencing everything possible. Within Bangkok itself, she also provided great service during my stay. I will use her again the next time I’m in Bangkok. - Bob

One tour can be just like the next…but it is the tour guide that always makes the difference. That wonderful tour guide is Renu Noppakhun: * Knowledgable * Dependable * Energetic * Caring * Funny * And of course friendly. Please don’t pass up a chance to have Renu as your personal travel guide. She is an exceptional guide…and she will become a life long friend along the way. - Bill & Matt Wagner

Such a wonderful experience exploring Bangkok like a local! I worked with Renu to arrange a two-day “tour” with a My Tour Guide Bangkok colleague who showed me around like a friend, not a bog-standard tour guide. We enjoyed a fun evening having an awesome dinner, drinks, and checking out a jazz / blues club in Sukhumvit (she knows *everyone*!) and then spent the following day exploring Khlong Lat Mayom, a floating market in the western part of Bangkok that’s more frequented by Thai tourists and locals than foreigners, and then Ko Kret, an island in the Chao Phraya River in far north Nonthaburi known for its ceramics and local market. Don’t get me wrong, checking out the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, etc. is great and all and I did that stuff on my own, but if you want to really get beneath the surface a bit and check out places slightly off the beaten path of foreign tourists, I highly recommend My Tour Guide Bangkok. You’ll eat well (no, amazingly well!), enjoy fun conversation, see cool stuff, learn a ton, and just have an all-around great time. Can’t say enough positive things! - Paul from Chicago

What a fantastic evening and I booked a private tour of Chinatown. Went to tea house and ate food of the famous chef, Fai Kaew. The guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. If you don't want to waste your time book Mytourguidebangkok and customize itt to your need. - Art

My tour guide was great. She speaks good English and knows Thailand very well. Has a great sense of humor and likes to have fun. Visited some very nice eating houses and knows her way around Bangkok. Would highly recommend her. - Paul

We had an absolute blast with Renu… She was on time, very communicative, very attentive… She did nice little gestures that made our trip THAT much more enjoyable and memorable… I definitely would say she left an impression on us and by the end of the day we were basically friends LOL! I highly recommend her… You will not be disappointed. - Maya from Texas

Always a good trip to Bangkok but you really do need a tour guide to take a look at Bangkok and to get out of the city to see more of this beautiful country. travel can be intimidating, but with ‘mytourguidebangkok’ it’s easy to do! - Cannon

We have traveled to Thailand many times, at least once a year for the past 10. This trip we decided to stay in Bangkok for ten nights and explore the city from a locals point of view. Our plan was to use public transport as much as possible and enjoy the unique street food as well as checking out some of Thailand’s cultural treasures. Put simply we could not have done this trip without Renu. Her local knowledge is priceless and second to none, simple things like shopping without being harassed, catching a taxi with a meter and paying locals prices made our trip so much more enjoyable. Renu not only provided an excellent insight into Thai culture but we had a comforting feeling knowing that she looked out for us during the whole time she spent with us, She met us at the Hotel on time and accompanied us back to the hotel at the end of the day. We had the pleasure of booking Renu for 2 days and 1 night and we absolutely recommend “mytourguidebankok” to any traveler heading to Thailand. - Trevor and Karen

I was in Bangkok last week on business and I had one free day so I decided to ask Renu to show me around Bangkok for the day. It was one of my better decisions; Renu knew how to get around the city quickly using trains and metered taxis which are much cheaper than just accepting a price from the taxi driver before you get into the taxi. We started with a Canal Tour from Saphan Taksin, this was fantastic and I got to see parts of Bangkok and how Thais lived by the canal and river that I would never have managed to see without Renu's expertise. We then visited Wat Pho (Reclining Buddah Temple) and on to the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, Where the King of Thailand body is resting waiting to be cremated in October. Then we visited Jim Thompson House which was very interesting, we have a very nice snack and drink there before we left. That evening Renu brought me to the Muay Thai boxing. This was not exhibition fighting it was the real thing and really exciting to watch, it helped greatly that the beer was flowing with our own tap on the table. We then visited a few bars and had some dinner. I cannot recommend Renu highly enough. My only regret was that I had only one free day, but I will be back and will be asking Renu to show me much more of the City of Angels. - Paul from UK

I have visited Bangkok previously with friends, however this time I was travelling solo so I decided to contact Renu to show me around Bangkok. I wanted to see things from a local point of view. I am glad I did! From first contact with Renu via email, everything was made easy and nothing was lost in translation as both her written and spoken English is perfect. Although my time in Bangkok was brief, Renu made sure that I visited all the things I had set out to see and she also took me to parts of Bangkok that I would never have found if I had set out on my own. Renu was always on time to begin each day and I found her to be great company which was a bonus as I was travelling solo. I would definitely recommend Renu to anybody visiting Bangkok, not just first time visitors. I am looking forward to visiting Bangkok again soon and will be sure to say hello. - Nathan

I visited Bangkok as a solo traveler and Renu was able to show me a grand time in and around the city. Day or night she shines as a guide and is great company as well. She was able to customize my tours to avoid the more touristy areas and show me what I wanted to see like the hospital museum and cat fishing, dinner cruise and Khaosan road at night! Very helpful with any errands or requirements I needed where I’m sure the bigger agencies would not. - Nigel

We very much enjoyed the full day we spent outside of Bangkok with Renu. The driver, Sam, and the hired off-duty taxi were first rate. Our customized itinerary of train market, long-tail boat ride, floating market and elephant park was very well juggled on-the-fly by Renu to ensure advantageous timings in spite of distances and traffic. As an added bonus upon our return to Bangkok, Renu stayed with us for a sunset dinner at a very nice waterfront restaurant before escorting us back to our residence. Following the tour, Renu went above and beyond yet again to maintain contact and provide advice for the rest remaining days of our stay in Thailand. Five stars! - Evan and Eric from Canada.

I had the most wonderful experience in Bangkok after hiring Renu as a guide. I had been to Bangkok a number of times for work, but wanted to see more than I could manage on my own. After a bit of searching, I was lucky enough to have come across Renu. I initially hired her to go to Ayutthaya for a day. It was the most wonderful experience, travelling on trains and tuk tuks to get there. An amazing place that Renu escorted me around, brimming with facts. We then went to a floating market and show. It was an action packed wonderful day. We then went on a night tour of Bangkok upon return, lovely good and bars. A great experience I couldn’t have done without her. I then hired her for a day trip to Erawan Falls. One of the most amazing places I have been to. It was the most beautiful day. I have photos that are so beautiful. Renu arranged everything. She was always looking at how to make it a better day. Renu made this trip to Bangkok the best I have been on. Her attention to detail, her sense of humour and her knowledge of Bangkok just made it worth every cent. She made it so easy to have fun. I would recommend her to anyone, whether solo like me or a group. Renu is amazing. I will book her again when I come back. - Andres from Australia
